Having just replaced the battery on my 98 M3 Evo the bloody bonnet stays have decided to lose all their oil....boogar..

Are they a standard 3 series fit?.....anyone else had the same trouble?
If so, where did you get the new ones? and how much?

What's with the rolleyes? No response generally means that no one knows.

I'm speculating BUT I doubt the bonnet stays would be specifically valved for an M3 bonnet so they *should* be series specific.

If you try German and Sweedish or Euorcarparts they will be cheaper than a main deela

Does the M3 have an alloy bonnet? Might be worth checking cos it will be lighter than a steel one.
.....Magnet anyone?

Don't bother phoning the parts department at your local dealer. They don't have a parts catalog so they couldn't tell you within a few minutes.
