My brother is looking for a new car. Doesnt need anything too fast, thirsty or expensive to insure and run.
I have suggested a 318is. He has abour £4k to spend and there seem to be what look like a few nice cars around for that money.
Anything to look out for on this particular 36?

Just as a regular car for a regular bloke a 318is will be fine performance wise. For us guys, yes it's rather slow, but the auto i had ages ago for a while was bearable.
TBMW rated them as one of the best all round cars BMW ever made.......
Went shopping on Saturday and came away with a lovely 318iSE Touring.
99T in dark metallic blue. Has the M-Tech kit and half leather sports interior.
77k, full BMW history and he's as happy as larry.
