Hamann Las Vegas

Too extreme or are we being too British about it?

Yes, Hamann have taken a gamble with it.

That bonnet scoop and rear spoiler look wrong. Something spouting those looks and pedigree should be able to at least hit 200mph instead of 195mph. YES it's still 195 but it's not 200, it's like nearly getting an A* in an exam, yes an A is good but A* is just that much better.

Dont really know what I think of it, but I'm certainly ignoring the scoop and spoiler.

What a rotten shambles-for the price of half a dozen TVR's you can look like a max power nob. Everyone will think you are running a 316/318 with those body mods.yuk

What a mess they've made of that. It might go very well and all that, but the bonnet scoop is VILE, and the doors just, well pointless.

Would you ever dare to travel at 195 in a car which had been built by people with that little taste? I can imagine them ditching the brake calipers because they detracted from the wheels or something . . . it mings. Super mega fugly.

I wouldn't be too worried about seeing one push you along the 3rd lane of the M1
I would be surprised if they make another one, it's just a headline grabber, it'll be in all the performance car mags, all the BMW mags, and all the car internet sites, and from it they will sell a few sets of alloys, a few body kits, and maybe an engine transplant, think Carisma Cerbera, you'll not see another one but you may see bits of it else where

Enough tat to cause a mass 'phat'-ing in the pages of Max Power. And why gullwings? What do they do other than give you something to bash your head on whilst getting out. Looks like the all-money-no-taste brigade have got their hands on it - can't they leave anything alone? at least the original E30 M3 moulded the spoiler into the bootlid.

Come to think of it, I once saw a Skoda Rapide (yes...) with 'Testarossa' side strakes, gull wing doors, and a tacked-on 'droop snoot' with pop-up headlights. Oh, yeah, and the obligatory seat belt warmers. For the money they wasted on that, they could have bought a 924, or a Capri, or an old Alfa GTV, or a Scirocco... the list goes on, the Max Power boys' knowledge of cars, sadly, doesn't.

Bleagh. What a dog. Very Max Power. How are you supposed to open those doors in Tesco's carpark...?

£168K!!!!

For that money I would much rather a Bentley Continental GT, an Ultima, an R1 and still a few quid left over for a nice meal at Ramseys!

£168k? So the choice is that hideous monstrosity, a 575 maranello, Vanquish or Murcielago... tricky.

I know what is missing!
An 18yr old bint with a silicone addiction sprawled across the bonnet a'la MP.

Even if it did, the money could be better spent on a holiday for two in Aruba, A 3 bed villa in Spain, a brand new M3 SMG fully specced, and a Ducati 998.

there's always the V12 version!!!!!
www.hamann-motorsport.de/homee.htm

why?
how could a 3-series handle even remotely well with that much weight up front?
