E30 325i Suspension Upgrades - Advice please!

A quick question on behalf of a mate who desperately needs advice from a non-muppet unlike himself.

Is the Bilstein Sprintline Kit the best way to spend £300-£400 on suspension for his shed of a Beemer?

Have you done this, or do you know anyone who has? Is there a better alternative (the Koni kit perhaps?)
