Car looks great!

I also like your garage floor - can you tell me a supplier / installer?

The garage floor is from a company called 'Racedeck' in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

www.racedeck.com/

It's not cheap especially when you factor in shipping (I think that alone was about $660 by air-freight), then import duty to the U.K...and then the real stinger and the one that I had stupidly forgotten to think of...VAT!

Nevertheless, it still worked out cheaper than putting down ceramic tiles onto the concrete floor once one factors in adhesive, grout, labour etc...

I was able to lay this stuff myself in a couple of days with no prior experience (quite a large expanse to cover)...would have been quicker had I not gone for a 'design/pattern' to the tiles.

They're acid, oil etc resistant. The main benefit I wanted was that they keep any dust off a concrete floor at bay! A further benefit?...In the event that I move...my garage floor comes with me!

Hehehe!...Damn!The vandals have written it on the front number plate as well!

Furthermore, they've stuck a sticker in the rear window with the inscription:

William Loughran Ltd, Specialists in Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche

This has resisted me simply unpeeling it...so far!

Clearly, I need to spend more time finishing this car properly!...LOL

Cheers

Thanks for the company details.

It should end up cheaper for me to do this as I'm in the US, so shipping won't be so bad, and import tax and VAT will obviously not apply.

I'm trying to buy a new garage at the moment (with house attached!) and have been planning on covering the concrete floor by some means. This looks perfect.

Thanks again.
