New 3 series - sales success or disappointment?

Anyone know how well the latest 3 series is selling? I have wondered how well the new model is shifting out of the showrooms. Despite being an enthusiastic BMW owner since '90, I personally am disappointed with the interior/exterior styling of the saloon/touring models and wondered whether this is a view shared by the buying public.

Having exceded our 3 series target by 130% I'd say not bad

Saw one on the road this morning, to be honest I thought it looked foul. The current CSL 3 Series with the massive BBS rims on was the pinnacle of the 3 series. They should get a new designer pronto!
