HELP - E39 M5 remap and other mods

Hi all - this is my first post to this newly found site!

I am lucky to own a 2002 M5 and have been considering getting a bit more performance via a remap and/or installing a Ram air intake (such as Active Autoworks).

My problem is deciding who to use as the claimed power increases seem to vary for a remap from 10bhp to 30 bhp depending on who you talk to. Also, some say the Ram air gives more "bangs for your buck" than a remap whilst others say it is a complete waste of money!!

Will kill you're Warranty only thing that escapes it is Exhaust, and the only one for an M5 is the Tubi
