yes but have you seen the latest spy shots - it is far from good looking even by Bangle standards!

I was contacted by my dealer about 3 weeks ago as i have one on order. The saloon (yes saloon!) is due end of next year. Followed by the coupe and cab in spring 2007.

The "spy shots" are crap photo-shops of some b8stard mix of new 3 series and e60 m5.

Your dealer is talking out of his arse. There is no confirmation of a saloon and the latest speculation is that there may be no cab, given that the new 3 Series cab will be a folding hardtop and just too heavy to make a decent M car. The latest rumour is that there may be a Touring, but it is a rumour. The only confirmed version of the new M3 is the Coupe.

Do you have any pictures / spyshots?

The only one I've seen was from a car mag about six months ago and looked like a well drawn BMW press impression, rather than a photo.

I think that it may look a bit drab and similar to the newer 5/6 series. from the shots i've seen, i was disappointed as i was expecting a brutish looking car (a follow on from the E36 M3/E39 M3), but it looks drab and rep mobile ish

He also confirmed that they WON'T be using a folding hard top.

There is a photo-copy of the official BMW product release schedule (M3 Q4 '06) and some pics on BM3W.com

I think it may well debut at Frankfurt this year, but you won't be able to get one in the UK until Spring 2007 at the very earliest.
