child car seats

I've searched the forum but can't find a similar posting... Has anyone any experience of buying childrens car seats to fit in a 330 coupe (2002)? The BMW ones are £280 each which is a bit steep (and I need 2 for 3-5 year olds). Britax say theirs don't fit BMW and Mothercare said the same. Any thoughts?

Britax ones do fit your car but require a special foam pad:

"Only approved with additional foam padding (available from your retailer or from Customer Services tel [phone])"
