E46 BMW SMG Clutch Slip

Just went for a drive and the clutch seems tio be slipping. When I change gear the revs rise a bit before the next gear bites. Anyone else had this. The weird thing is the car is 12 months old with 4k miles and I do not do anything that would hammer the clutch.

Maybe it just needs adjusting but Im expecting BMW to say it's knackered and they wont replace it as its W&T!

Even with hard starts surely these things should last 30k miles+?
