Probably stating the bleedin' obvious to the Munchen cognoscenti but gave a reasonable razzing to these on the M5 yesterday and they are just superb - Sutcliffe was bang on.

Ride quality transformed and an overall sense of more suppleness over ridges and the appalling cocktail of unrepaired road debris whilst grip seems massively restored.

That means the power gets down effectively and with a full rebalance it's back to business as usual - brutal lane intimidation and a cavalier disregard for limitations in general that would have Louis XIV headbanging his approval.

To paraquote Jezmondo, the drive is now so good that I really could drive this thing 'until the Arabic oil fields {or battery} ran out.'

Bloody marvellous.

Fitted a set to mine a couple of weeks ago - to replace the crappy none-branded ones which were on it (why do people fit cheap budget brand tyres on a car capable of 150MPH?). Still, mine are a little higher profile than the M5, but ride and grip are excellent. Not the best wearing tyre in the world, but have always liked them. Work well for UK roads...
