E30 M3 Engine re-build

Any ideas on how much to have an E30 M3 Engine re-built......
It's running Low Comp, as the milage is around 140k i'm assuming it'll need a re-bore, new pistons and rings ???

I believe munich legends said that a brand new engine from BMW was about four grand, so my bet for a rebuild....and don't quote me would be around two and a half grand with them. Its got to be a weeks work 55 pound an hour and the bits!
