i think. I have a BMW 316 (2000 model) and when i pull back the stalk for the screen washer an intial burst of water comes out (like normal) then the pressure dies out and the water dribbles out of the nozzles. I've checked the nozzels and they are clear and there is enough screenwash in the tank (this occured whilst there was around half a tank of screen wash) I've checked in pipe work and i can't see any cracks or leaks. Anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Could be that it is frozen, more likely that the one way valve is fd

Had a similar problem and it was a build up of crud in the washer bottles (no idea how the dust and such like got in there). The garage cleaned the filters and all is good now.

Same thing happened on mine a couple of months back.

It was one of those strange things that sorted itself out !!

I think I remember holding on to the stalk until the pressure miraculously came back - has not happened since. Give it a go !

Keep trying it every 10 or so minutes of driving from cold, i have the same problem, seems to be frost in the tubes whichs clears after a bit of driving around.
