Hi going to get my new BMW superchipped has anyone chipped this 2.0 diesel engine??? what the performance like afterwards with the adittional 30 bhp.

Not the latest 3, but my 53 plate (6 speed 150 bhp) was superchipped and I'm very pleased with the results. It's a claimed 184 and about 20% more torque, which it feels - will spin up in 3rd on a flat damp road!

cheers, had it done yesterday and its transformed the car, amazing torque i checked on the superchips website and it has more torque than a m3 after being chipped so very pleased with the results.

Careful, it gets a litte addictive.

I did a track day at Croft a few days after getting the chip and was able to mug M3's, WRX and a 911 C4 964 (ok it had Marshall tyres on but still)!

i can believe it mate, awesome power, for insurance purposes i wanted a 318ci originally thank god i found out i was able to get insurance on this car im over the moon especially after having it chipped.
