2000 was when they changed the badging, other than that I don't have experience of running one.

I've had a 323SE saloon and currently a 325Sport.
Both have 2494cc engines but the early one had 171bhp and the latter 192bhp.
Reliability was never a problem.

Do you notice the difference in the power between the two. Whats your opinion on the car overall. Sorry if I am being a pain but want to make sure I buy the right car.....

I owned a 325 Coupe on a 51 plate for just over 3 years as a company car. In those 3 years I did over 100k miles in the car, and when I handed it back it still felt great within the engine as tight as a drum.

In over 100k miles I didn't have a single thing go wrong with the car.

My advice is go for the 325 and don't be afraid to pick up a high mileage car. You should be abale to pick up a good 3 year old example for about £12.5k

Marginal improvement in performance but got better fuel consumption with 171 bhp.
If a good older cimes available go for it.
