E28 M535 Racecar

Well, it's not yet, but I'd like to know if anyone has raced one before, or has prepared one for the track at least.

There are about three different race series for which the old girl is suited...I'm not planning on stepping onto the top step, but just having a load of fun and meeting heaps of 'grass root' motorsport folk.

Can anyone let me know who the would recommend for modifying the 3.5L M30 engine and all the other aspects of getting a car sorted?

Shes still in total road trim at the moment, so there's quite a lot to do yet!

Any help/advice would be greatly received (apart from change of car...I have a soft spot for her!)
