Hi,
I had the 'brake pads low' light come on on my M3 Evo, so i checked the pads...fronts were low, back are fine. I got a replacement set and did the job. Now even though i have new pads in the front, the light will not go out. I have tried disconnecting the little green lead that goes to the pads but it still stays on? Is there reset needed? Or can i get the light to go out by earthing it etc? I dont want to resort to bits of black tape on my dash!!!
Cheers, Nick

Try bridging the two wires on the sensor together.

Sensor is sacrifical, once the light comes on it means that its worn thru the sensor - replacement required. I found that I took a while to go off, you can help it along with a sequence on the ignition switch (google) - i think you just leave it on the about to turn it over setting for a minute or two.
