What model 325 is it? E30/ E36/ E46?

I would start at the 5 pin DME relay for the DME control unit;

E30 = white relay under black cover on left inner wing

E36 = white relay under black cover adjacent to fuse box under bonnet on left of car by bulkhead

E46 = light green relay inside 'E-box' under bonnet on left of car near bulkhead, E46 also has a small block of fuses for the dme relay outputs as they split to go to injectors, coils, sensors etc.

Alright I'll elaborate, driving normally and cuts out suddenly, turns over fine, all electrics work fine, check fuses, fuel, all ok. Green flag checks plug for spark and finds none. The car has individual coils
