E46 330i windows?

A couple of times when I've returned to my car I've found all my windows open by about 2 inches (all the same height)?
Does anybody know if this is a keyfob function or a problem of somesort. I've absolutely no idea how to replicate or stop it?

There was this recall, and I do know there have been some problems occuring with the power window mechanisms, might be the place to start looking.

happened to me a few times if you jam your keys in your skyrocket and accidently hold down the open button they go down, as you walk away it gets out of range.
