Auto Boot Closing

The Father in Law used to have a 740 with Automatic Boot Closing. It was my favorite part of the car... (I think I like gadgets) . And I was wondering if anyone new if this was an option or you can retro fit ? Just going to by an E39 so would like to fit it.

You could get it to the end of the touring's life again as an option.

Don't think it was ever an option on the saloon.
