hello,

im looking to buy a e30 bmw, but im looking to getting it resprayed a different colour,

Now if it has a body kit on it,how much would it roughly cost me to have a full body respray?

thanks for any info,

mark

I've recently had my E30 325i 4 door with Mtec 2 bodykit resprayed - based on that, and the fact that you want a colour change, I would think you would need to budget £2-£2.5K - possibly more.

As you've not yet bought a car, why not just buy one in a colour you like, then you won't need to have it sprayed a different colour?

A color change is so hard to do really right - consider the inside of the boot, the front of the door jamb around the hinges - I'd suggest keep looking till you find a color you can live with.

Ask to see an example of the work of anyone who says "oh yeah mate, we can do the color change quick and cheap no problem" - likely you will find their standards not too good.

The resale value of the car will never be as good as it would be in original color.

If you are going to do a full respray on an E30, by all means get a car that's exactly what you want and in excellent condition otherwise, since you will have way too much money in the car.
