F30 340i Removing Pops and Bangs - Recommendations

I’ve got an F30 340i with the MPPSK. In sport mode, it’s very obnoxious - I love the increased volume when in the mood but the pops, bangs, farts, crackles are just too annoying and quite anti-social.

Does anyone know if these can be mapped out completely, so I just get standard exhaust sound without any of these artificial effects?

Recommendations for garages that can get it done?

MPPSK was a dealer option rather than a factory option so a dealer should be able to revert it to standard.

Yep. Aftermarket remap is the only way to get rid of the deliberately rich overrun fuelling. You will still get some natural overrun pops and bangs if you have a sports exhaust though because injectors aren't digital, and the standard base spec exhaust absorb most of it.

Lookup MHD software, you can then configure the pops and burbles or turn them off completely from you mobile phone, without needing a tune.

Even with the MPPSK mine would only make those OTT noises when really provoked (think revving it to 6k then lifting off and tapping the throttle), might be worth checking it's not already mapped? Either way it can be adjusted to calm it down.
