So I just got my 335i (2006 N54) back from having a new clutch and flywheel. I've had the MHD software installed for a while but put the maps back to "stock" to avoid further clutch slip whilst it was waiting to go into the garage.

Now I did something incredibly stupid but easy at the same time yesterday whilst trying to load the MHD stage 2 software back onto the car. My car is keyless and whilst the maps were uploading from my phone via the wireless MHD adapter, I stepped out of the car to nip inside and instinctively locked the doors. This of course switched the ignition and car off completely which killed the connection between the adapter and my phone. Needless to say the map upload was unsuccessful.

Now I've tried to reconnect my phone to the car but it simply will not connect, but worse the car will now not start. I'm worried I've completely fried the ECU as a worst case but was hoping someone could suggest another fix. Maybe a mobile coder/tuner would be able to get into the cars ECU with appropriate software and help rectify my mistake?

The name is obviously "ECU REMAN" ufacturer if you didn't know.

There are other companies like them (google - CAR ECU Repairs, or CAR ELECTRONICS repairs or similar) and I am sure, they will be able to help.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery? That might get the ECU back into a sensible state.
