Approx costs to fix this bumper damage?
Discussion
I’ve noticed someone has hit the front of my 128ti and holed the bumper as well as taking some paint off. Does anyone have an idea of repair costs? It’s a weekend so I’d like to somewhat prepare myself for the impending shock of quotes I’ll get. I’m expecting even this level of damage may require a whole new bumper? I might end up trying to ignore it as I’m sure the costs will be vast.

I do this for a living as a smart repairer for a national business, we would quote £250+vat.
That would be to plastic weld the rip, repair and paint the bumper corner and the black plastic trim with a lifetime guarantee. As someone said above £200-£400ish should cover a high level smart repair.

I almost wish I did it myself. It would be marginally less annoying. Sadly I guess this is the risk of street parking.
It's in an odd location for someone else to hit. I would have expected it to be higher up if that was the case. When I first saw it I was expecting you to say it was caused by being hit by a bit of debris or caught it on a high kerb when parking. Luckily though it doesn't look like it will be too expensive to fix. cuprabob said:

I was parked at the end of a road that leads to a lane. I suspect someone failed to turn the corner properly into the lane and scraped my car. To make it even more annoying, the last time I’d touched the car was to fully clean it!Gassing Station | BMW General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
