BMW 2021 745e Incorrect "Charging Flap Open" warning message

My BMW 2021 745e displays an incorrect "Charging Flap Open" warning message on the dash, even thought the flap is 100% closed. Any thoughts on how to get rid of this message appreciated, or is there a thought that there is a faulty sensor somewhere?

There will be a microswitch somewhere in the flap mechanism that is stuck.

Perhaps a bit of oil on the flap hinge would help?
