Z4 Steering Wheel/Paddle options?
Discussion
Morning all.
I've got a Z4 on order, and considering options around the steering wheel.
The paddles on the standard one are a bit short, and radially, don't extend as far out as maybe I'd like.
Probably wouldn't have thought twice about it, if I hadn't test driven one that had a different steering wheel/paddles fitted, think it was this one:

Not sure alcantara is the best idea in a convertible, I'll have the roof down all the time ,it might get wet. Also, the car is coming with the heated steering wheel fitted, so not sure I want to lose that.
This appears to be the only other option i can see from BMW, which are still pretty small:

What I'd really like is something more like the paddles on the M4, they're much larger.
Does anyone know, are these my only options unless i go aftermarket? Don't really want to buy it and immediately put aftermarket bits on it if it'll mess with the warranty.
And yes, i did speak to the garage I've bought it from, they're going to check with their parts/accessories guys, but thought I'd ask here, see if anyone knew.
Cheers

Might be worth giving these guys a shout...usually come well recommended.
(it's something i've been tempted to do on my E86 Z4)

Why not just change the paddles instead of the whole wheel?
