Have a new M135 F70 and thinking of changing springs to Eibach. Looking for advice from people who have done the same, ride quality, how much harder is the drive, is it worth it? Thanks.

Not the same car(s) - but both my Jap import E39 touring and 540i Sport saloon, our F31 touring and my E81 were / are on Eibach pro kit springs and I'd highly recommend them

Drop a touch lower than Sport / M Sport; are as compliant as OEM when driving normally; but firm up when they need to due to them being progressive etc and they'll work spot on with OEM shocks / Bilstein B4S shocks or B6/B8 shocks etc

IMO stick with the Pro-Kit springs (black ones) for a sensible drop and superb ride; the Sportline springs (red ones) need to be paired with the Bilstein B8 shocks as they drop much more

The Eibachs sit between the standard items and the Sportline springs in terms of stiffness. Drop of 10mm IIRC and a well judged ride. Not harsh like the Sportlines.

Pros are designed for base suspension cars, so on M Sport cars, the height reduction and extra stiffness are marginal, which is a good thing.

Sportlines are for dropping an already "Low slung" car (as BMW call it) and I wouldn't go there personally.

The Pros are probably the best progressive springs I've tried, with the rate transition being almost invisible to the driver.

My only gripe with lowering springs is the offside rear corner sits slightly lower compared to the nearside if that is where the battery lives.
