Driving Dynamic Check Up - this warning message has appeared

started my car yesterday and I had a warning appear - In the app it says Driving Dynamic Check Up and in the control message on the car - Chassis, can continue to drive driving assistant check control. The DSC light is on and the check control. I drove to Birmingham and then stopped for a meeting, when I got back into the car the message had cleared. After the final meeting of the day it came back.

This morning it was gone and then appeared as I was driving home.

Any ideas???

No chance of getting an appointment at a retailer now before Christmas

Could be a myriad of things, you need to have the codes read ideally. How old is the 12v battery?

strange the warning was on again this morning and then after my first meeting it did not come back on. Spoke to my local BMW service centre and they cannot look at it for 3 weeks!!!

Called BMW Assist and they have booked me in to the same dealer tomorrow- they view it as a safety issue!!!

My guess is a wheel speed sensor playing up - but we will see

Funny how it comes and goes.

12v battery is 2 1/2 years old - same as the car

I have an intermittent ‘chassis warning’ alert that sometimes comes on on my G31 530d Xdrive. BMW have been unable to trace. Really frustrating but doesn’t affect how it drives.

So I am sat in BMW Sytner this morning - they are going to try and see what's up - told 3 days at least but I have no one to collect me!!! that has put a little pressure on the after sales team as I am sat at their desk until its sorted!!!

What was diagnosis?

Arrived and was told it will be at least three days with them - called BMW Assist and they arranged a hire car to be delivered to the dealer for me.

So I wait to see - car according to the MyBMW App has not moved yet and still showing the fault warning. I guess I will hear Monday or Tuesday. I also guess I will not get mine back until after Christmas.

But BMW Assist has been brilliant now in the dealers hands

Turns out it is an issue with the compressor for the self levelling rear suspension (touring)
New parts arriving on Monday so hopefully back on Tuesday
