650i V8 Convertible iDrive failure

Afternoon folks.

Posting for a mate. iDrive has failed. Anyone know of an indy who is capable of repair or replacement please? Midlands based but prepared to travel for a guaranteed fix.

Not sure if 2006 has voice command but buying a 125I 2010 it wouldn't work. Controller stif so just got a replacement controller about£70 ebay. No problems after . My be an idea to give more details although poster above may have already helped.

Are you sure it's an iDrive failure and not just a failure with the screen (which is easy to replace)?
