Hi all. Im looking at purchasing a 325ci (2004) in Imola Red but. The current owner only has the service history from his ownership. Ferthermore, im interested (in general) to see if there are any sites that tell you your BMW build via the VIN and where i can go to obtain service history. I will try BMW tomorrow to see if they can help but untill then, im in your expertise.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to find the Service History unless you know where the car went. I got some really helpful information about history for my E91 from 3 dealer groups.
As has been said if you can find a working VIN checker that'll tell you the build spec.
320Ci, 325Ci, 330Ci all had the same engine, just in different sizes - 2.2 litre, 2.5 and 3.0 so running costs are the same so bigger has to be better!
I had a 325ti Compact and it was great fun, just a shame BMW never put a 3 litre in them.
