Hi All,

First time post… Looking for a bit of advice. Mrs has scraped the front offside corner of her X3 and somehow managed to gouge the headlight lens. Can anyone tell me whether I can just replace the damaged lens, or will I need to buy a complete assembly?

I’m hoping to get a scratch repairer to sort the paintwork and just replace the lens if possible (rather than have my pants pulled down my the insurer) but if it needs a new headlight the replacement cost is shocking and it’ll be an insurance job.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can offer some guidance…

Thanks. It’s a 2020MY.

If I’m reading that right it looks like I can’t just buy the lens….. Nearly £1600 for a light. Not good

The prices on there tend to be higher than reality.

Better hope you haven't got the Adaptive LED version then, as it's almost double the price banghead

I had a rock through one of my laser lights earlier this year. £3200 for a replacement.

They are the adaptive ones…. £2350 (not fitted). Shocking…it shows how cars can get written off so easily from minor shunts if a couple of headlights can be over £5k
