Anyone want my place on the M6 list for Dec Delivery ?

I ordered an M6 a long time ago ! They have just asked me to spec it but i have decided i dont want it and my dad isnt interested either.

So if anyone wants my spot, which is a very early one, then please e-mail me and it yours ! (just to confirm im not selling the space, just giving it away)

I have all the details for the car and the spec sheet etc. So before i cancel it i thought i'd see if anyone wants my spot !

And how exactly do you sell your spot considering that the contract is between the dealer and first customer? (and by implication non-transferrable). e.g I (the dealer) promise to sell you (the customer) said car when it becomes available.

I know people who have bought slots of other people before. Contract with the dealer or no contract.

I know for certain Aston Martin allow it.

Not sure of the asbsolute mechanics but I've been told the first two E60 M5s into my local dealer have been sold on in this manner. Even had the salesman phoning my brother up (on the list) asking him if he wanted to pay a bloody great premium and have a car early.

The dealer i have ordered the car with i have been using for years. Bought a lot of cars through them. I had a chat with the guy who runs the place and he said if i found someone who really wanted the slot (without payment) he would have no problem in me giving that person the slot.

If i cant he would like to get the next guy in the Q, who would be the 3rd person and bump him into my No.2 slot.

I also dont think there is going to be much of a premium market anyway, i mean once specced, the M6 is going to be a £90k car ! Im pretty sure not many people would pay a premium ontop of £90k for a BMW !

So if i can sell my car and the slot for around 2k, I will only need to find another 78K to take delivery. OMG!

Seriously good luck with things and would you mind me asking what your going for instead of the M6???

Still got my 360 up for sale, thats going to be replaced by a Gallardo Spider. I get to pick up my dad's DB9 Volante on Monday and im seriously excited about playing with that before i take it up to Yorks for him !!

Just started a new business, so even thought im tempted by lots of things, i wont have an exotic till the G Spider.
