Hi, I have a 2007 330i which needs new petrol injectors. Does anyone have any experience of replacing them with reconditioned units?

Also can anyone tell me which engine I have, I think it’s a N52N?

A 2007 model is more likely to be an N63 engine.

What tax band is it in? N52s are Band K, N53s are one lower IIRC. Also look in the handbook for the quoted power output. BMW claim 258 PS for the N52 and 272 for the N53.

The piezo injectors for the N53/n54/N63 engine cannot be refurbished, so ignore anyone selling refurbed injectors.

Edit, people have had success with used injectors, in case that's what you meant. Look for index 11, don't bother with earlier ones, and as ever you pays your money takes your chances etc.

Version 11 or higher. Pretty rare.

N52 injectors almost never fail and I've never seen or heard on one going bad.

07 onwards Piezo ones on the N53 are a nightmare.

Index 11's are desirable but not essential. The indexes are 3 (black top) and then grey top 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. They either work or they don't and they must be coded to the engine ECU by entering the six numbers on the left hand side of the injector body.

That’s strange as I have the n52 engine.

What issues are you having and what diagnostics have been done to lead to injectors?
