I have seen people commenting on this before. The problem is clearly caused by a design error, but BMW will not accept any liability. I have just had to pay £4400 to replace the electronic components in my boot, but this could have easily been avoided if BMW had advised us of the problem or done a recall to carry out the easy fix. Has anyone had any success with their complaint to BMW.
