E92 Pulling Under Braking
Discussion
Hello all, hoping for a bit of advice. I picked up an E92 325d a few weeks ago and am having an issue with it sometimes pulling to the left under braking.
It doesn’t do it every time, seems to be more prevalent under lighter braking and tends to correct itself pretty quickly.
My initial thoughts are maybe a sticky caliper on the RHS, I’ve had an E90 before which had some very gunked up slider pins so thinking I might get those out and try and clean them up to start.
The car had an MOT in May and had an advisory for Offside Front Upper Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement outer (5.3.4 (a) (i)). This is presumably the control arm, number 9 on the diagram (but other side obviously!). Could this be causing this issue instead? I would have expected it to be constant rather than intermittent if so but I will defer to the vastly superior knowledge on here.
Grateful for any thoughts or advice. Thank you.

Yeah; if the main tension strut ball joint has play in it; that won't be helping and it may loosen off after you've driven a bit
But agree; tends to be the brakes/sticking caliper when this happens
Worth giving it all a good once over and get them struts (both sides) replaced (go for Moog parts from your local motorfactors)
It'll need tracking & alignment too
