Has anyone used a Bluespark tuning box?

Hi all,
Thinking about a remap for my 335d (yes, I know, Pistonheads cliche...) and wondered if anyone had any experience of Bluespark tuning boxes?
IMO if you're getting a remap; get it done properly and stay away from these so called tuning boxes...Thinking about a remap for my 335d (yes, I know, Pistonheads cliche...) and wondered if anyone had any experience of Bluespark tuning boxes?
Loads of YT videos showing the comparisons between a tuning box and proper remap; look at Darkside Developments channel as an example
I would not fit that to a BMW N57 engine. Get it mapped properly, these fail due to poor re-maps: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
I'm a fellow 335d owner, no way on gods earth i'd trust one of those.

Thanks, I'll take a look.
There's a tuner local to me that seems to be very well regarded (Emaps), but the idea of a plug and play/removable unit is quite appealing. Was wondering if anyone had any real world experience of this particular unit.
Simon of eMaps is well regarded and his maps have been written using dyno pulls etc; he'll also do your remap on a dyno for an extra chargeThere's a tuner local to me that seems to be very well regarded (Emaps), but the idea of a plug and play/removable unit is quite appealing. Know a few folk that have used Simon now and very positive feedback; well worth contacting him
Had a blue spark fitted to my N55 M235i around 5 years ago, they were relatively new back then. The guy who manufactures them lives close to me and fitted it himself. He also works in conjunction with a known performance centre so has had cars rolling roaded with his tuning boxes.
I personally thought the Bluespark was an ok option for the £. Ran it for around a year without problems before deciding I wanted the JB4 option.

Ran it on an N55 M135i, there's a jumper to give you 5 modes. Never had a problem with it, used it for a while, then sold it on. Had no problems with it.
Did either of you notice any significant performance and/or economy gains?Ran it on an N55 M135i, there's a jumper to give you 5 modes. Never had a problem with it, used it for a while, then sold it on. Had no problems with it.
