Disable Alarm

E61 LCI currently giving trouble with what I believe is the diversity antenna which means the remote key is no longer working I have to manually lock/unlock the car.

Trying to find a way to be able to lock the car without activating the alarm as when I unlock the alarm sounds and I have to put the fob into the ignition to stop it which isn't helpful.

Is there a way to disable the system via ISTA/INPA until I get the replacement antenna and get it swapped?

There should be a way to lock with the key without the alarm.

Using the fob, you normally press the lock button twice.

I think with the key, you lock it twice? Not sure, do you have the manual? It should tell you in there.

This is the process for an F30. It only stops the tilt and interior movement sensor.
It is surprising how many people leave kids or dogs in a car, who then trigger the alarm by moving about inside.

I lock with the key and whichever way I turn it locks and arms the alarm right away. Fob is not working due to diversity antenna not working, has no 12V so need to find the break in the wire.

Looked in the manual but couldn't see it
