Another BMW magazine closing down.

I see that Total BMW has published its last copy with its Summer edition. A pity as I enjoyed reading a proper magazine. Itself was a combination of two BMW magazines.

As a long time contributor to Performance BMW and subsequently Total BMW magazine, not to mention typical BMW fan boy, I was saddened to learn of their demise. Unfortunately people just don't buy magazines anymore so advertisers take their money elsewhere. It's all about

I used to be a mod on the PBMW Forum many years ago.

Shame about Total BMW, my E30 Carbio was included in a feature there (again many years ago).

Very sad indeed.

On the other hand I'm always surprised marque specialist magazines like these have made it this far! I used to buy them 15~20 years ago, but now get the equivalent from PH and other forums.

TBMW was very good when it arrived (1999?) but predictably started to go downhill when it changed publishers around 2006. BMW Car was good when it was owned by Unity Media.

I did see a recentish copy of BMW Car and it was very thin.
