Jenvey advertises independent throttle bodies for the 2.5/2.8 engine as fitted in the e36 and that is seen as an improvement on allowing more air flow. Has anyone fitted this because I believe it’s just a bolt on and then a tune.

Is there an alternative?

People used ITB from an S50 or S54 when they were plentiful and cheap but now you'd be looking at £600+ for the ITB and £400 for the adaptor, plus you'll want standalone ECU, wiring harness and mapping.
