I did ask earlier this year but I’ve been off the road and so has car so I need to ask again.
What and where can I purchase front discs and pads for my E60 550i ‘M’ sport for DIY fitting.
Looked at euro car parts but they seem very high price? I wish to fit good quality for normal everday driving.
Thanks for advise links.

Stick with the OE makers via Autodoc - website will give you the prices, but the app will always get you a better discount

Textar, Jurid, ATE & TRW are the OEM makers - Sometimes Galfer as well - Part numbers via www.realoem.com

However, deffo try Cotswolds BMW and Douglas Park BMW via eBay to see what prices they can offer for genuine BMW parts - they can be very good.

AUTODOC usually have the best prices for aftermarket stuff or OE brands without the price tag.

For the pads, I’d highly recommend the ATE ceramic jobbies to cut down on brake dust.

The 550i only shares the same discs with the 535d, so are a little more pricey than the lesser powered models.

I think these are the correct discs on Autodoc:

Shortlist Textar, TRW, ATE and Jurid and ensure they're the correct 2 piece discs you need (I'm sure they're 2 piece); prices don't look too bad at all, c£160 a side
