My 530i needs a major service which is its first maintenance since I've owned it. I am approximately equi-distant from Woods in Odiham and Barons in Farnborough. As an alternative, is there an independent near me that anybody can recommend from previous experience, please?

I can answer my own post; I've been recommended Chris Plumber in Aldershot.

I agree as I've been using Chris Plummer to service my E34 525 for about 10 years now. Very good for all routine stuff and spotting wear problems before MOT failure. Odd balls like the current engine running problem that has beset me for a few years now may be more challenging though. Chris doesn't seem to have have much by way of expensive diagnostic kit (fair enough really), but is still well in with Barons where he worked previously.Very personable bloke too.
