Tank of fuel when you purchase a car from BMW dealer
Discussion
I read on various sites that dealers only give you £30 of fuel when you purchase a used or new car from them. I asked this question and got the same answer. I just bought a 2021 BMW116 M Sport for £23500 and was told by the salesman that this was the company's policy. Being me, I got in contact with the Head Man at BMW and he told me he was going to get in touch with the dealership to ensure they fill the car up before I completed the deal. Shortly after this, I received a call from the dealership salesman I purchased the car from, and he said he would ensure it was full when I collected it. It goes to show if you are meek and mild, they think they can walk over Joe Public!

You got seen-off chum. I bought a BMW and the salesman threw in a full tank of fuel, mudflaps and a go on his missus. Plus coffee afterwards. I didn't have to mail head office at all. denking said:

Good man. These pesky stealers.Well done for dominating the sales floor.
To be fair, if I were spending that sort of money at a main dealer I'd expect a full tank of fuel too. That said, on discovering that I only got £30 worth I'd probably call the salesman a tight sod and laugh it off rather than contact head office. What did irk me was, back in the day, when you could buy a car with tax on it, a well established independent Ferrari specialist would sell cars with six months tax on rather than a whole year. I'd have expected that kind of penny pinching from people selling bangers from portacabins on waste ground, not specialists selling £100k+ supercars!
