Hello: Iam very new to the club but hope to gain a lot of useful information concerning my 2001 Z3 . Purchase the car about four years ago a love it. I had a Sunbeam Alpine Series 3 for over twenty years until it just got to expensive to find parts and the availably just wasn't there any more. Question is I have a switch on the lower left side of the console. It is a push button switch with the letters either OSD or DSC on it. I do not have a driver's manual. What does this activate.
I know that there is someone that can clear this up for me.
Thank you for any info.

DSC means Dynamic Stability Control
It’s an electronic nanny to keep you out of the hedges and on the black stuff. Don’t turn it off unless you want to get sideways 👍

I had one, a 1962. I used to get parts from a place in Hermitage near Newbury......30-40 years ago. biggrin

I think a single press of the DSC button makes it a bit less intrusive, but holding it in for a few seconds turns it off completely.
