M3 (E46) Spec Changes

Can anyone on here provide info on the spec changes that seem to have taken place on the E46 M3 sometime around 2003? A new design of LED rear light cluster was introduced around then and some earlier cars don't appear to have the auto wing mirror deployment button ()?

Anyone know the details of what altered in this most covert of facelifts and when it took place? Many thanks.

Bugger all really to the M3...

The rear lights were changed to the LED ones, the Electric Folding Mirrors were always an option.

2 other minor changes i know about, pure cosmetic really, at the same time as the lights they made the boot handle longer and on smg cars neutral was shown on the dash as "0" whereas now it's "N"
