X5 G05 30d - MHT or not?
Discussion
I am looking at moving to an X5 and have been looking up to about 50k.
I want the diesel as not interested in electric yet so the plug-in hybrid is not for me but have realised that some cars built in early 2020 are the straight 30d and some are the 30d MHT.
I know it gets an extra 12 hp etc but is it having any effect on residuals or should I just get the one with the spec I like ?
Not sure if it’s best to get the MHT as it will be more desirable down the line no doubt?
anyone have one?

Not an X5 but I have the 30d MHT in a 7 series, it works very well gives great economy round town seems to just tickle you along in traffic and just a little bit of extra pep to the throttle response when you need it.
It gives you an additional 11hp + the 286hp from the engine, it's never going to be massively noticeable but it does make a little difference
