Odd question, would removing the rear nearside and middle seats impact anything structural or negatively affect the safety of occupants in a crash?

Been trying to find something on the BMW website but I'm struggling.

No, of course not. Seats are just contents, the bodyshell and airbags/belt tensioners are the main safety bits.
