E60 recall

Anybody had their e60 in for the battery cable recall?
Took mine in yesterday. Was advised my car needs welding due to corrosion on the boot floor around the terminal.
I have never heard of this. My car, even though its 2004, has no visible corrosion.
This happened to anybody else?

I had mine done in 2020. They checked it, found it ok and just applied some protective grease iirc.
