Have you driven a 330D?
That is a very nice looking car but £15k is a lot of money and I can't help but wonder if every time you see a 330D you may end up wishing you waited.
I have an old E91 330D with 152k miles on it. It is the last of the M57s with the inferior ZF6 but even at approaching 15yrs old the 6 pot engine makes the car IMHO.
330Ds are not rare. If you are in for £15k would waiting a bit to save up another couple of grand be worth it.
Apologies for the counter point! (Airplane).

I think the thought that “for the low miles you do, you don’t need a 330D” is backwards thinking.
If you do low miles to the point of not caring about the mileage, I’d be running the best engine in a given platform due to not giving a flying one about fuel economy (because it makes little difference in the long run). This is part of the reason I went for a 440i over a 428/430, with the small mileage I do per year the fuel savings are practically irrelevant.
I loved my old 330D, the 6-pot makes a BMW IMO. My brothers 320D always felt like a massive compromise (because he is impatient) and it showed in how long it was inevitably kept.
