I suspect I already know the answer to this but it never hurts to ask, Is there any accessible resource that matches part numbers to BMW wiring diagram X designations that isn't dealer only? I'm after this part right now, X6430, actually on a Mini. I'm 99% sure I know what it is based on what I know to be physically in the circuit but it would be great if something like this was out there.

Have you had a hunt around on RealOem? Might be here? https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=RE32...

Failing that I'd give the parts desk at Cotswold BMW a call. 01242 335 335

Edit to add
It gets a hit here on the Bimmer forum here https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?... and also a link led here - mainly included here for use of axes as a crimping tool.

I had a dodgy earth strap on my 645. It was easier to get a replacement from BMW, but I was paying an indy to fix the car for an immenient christmas trip and I appreciate YMMV.

Real OEM is hit & miss for this unfortunately. I've tracked it down a different way but it would be useful to link the two . I guess the demand isn't there & most people just hand cars over to techs for repair which is fair enough.

Wds android app is pretty good for wiring. It doesn't have the part numbers for the x connectors, but usually there are decent pictures or descriptions which helps.
