Can anybody tell me if an E36 325 comes as standard with an LSD or will this be an option.

Also can anyone tell me the difference between a standard 325 and one with M Tech suspension .e.g. anti roll bar sizes etc.

Thanks,
Stuart.

Nope, No LSD in the E36 model only on M series.

But if you or anyone is looking for an E36 325 with a 3.0 M3 engine, I'm seriously thinking about selling mine, its dark silver with cream leather and the engine has 55,000miles on it. Its not advertised yet but I'm looking for about £4k.

p.s. It has 325 transmission so no LSD

Not completely true Nifty. The LSD was an option and most likely found on the 325 coupe, the early 328 sports did have LSD but were later replaced by A-SC traction control, but an LSD was still available as an option.

Easy way to tell (apart from ringing BMW with the vin no) is to jack it up on one side and trying to rotate the rear wheel, if it turns easily then you are afflicted with a pegleg diff.
